This visual lecture focuses on Elizabeth Catlett, a significant twentieth-century artist now gaining recognition through a traveling exhibition of over 200 works at The Brooklyn Museum, The Art Institute of Chicago, and The National Gallery of Art, DC. Catlett was a revolutionary artist, activist, feminist, and advocate for social justice, known for her work in sculpture, painting, and printmaking.
