Description
Ellen Burstyn is one of America’s most highly regarded actresses. She found success in film, on stage and in television. Burstyn had been working for over a decade when she rose to fame in The Last Picture Show in 1971 and won the Academy Award as Best Actress for Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore in 1974. She is one of 20 performers to win the “triple crown” of acting with a Tony Award for Same Time, Next Year and an Emmy Award in 2008. This talk will remind us why a performance by Ellen Burstyn is synonymous with good acting.
