Description

YOU (NAR)CAN SAVE LIVES!

Anyone can save a live with NARCAN nasal spray.

Nassau County has been addressing the opioid crisis on multiple fronts.

One of them is educating its residents on the use of Naloxone, also known by the trade name NARCAN.

Legislator Rose Marie Walker, in partnership with County Executive Bruce Blakeman and the Nassau County Department of Human Services, is hosting this event to help people identify the signs of an opiate overdose and learn how to administer the overdose-reversal antidote NARCAN, which can save a person's life. All registered attendees will receive a free NARCAN kit.

SEATING IS LIMITED AND RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED

To reserve a seat and free NARCAN Overdose Prevention Kit, contact Legislator Walker's office by phone 516-571-6217 or by email rosewalker@nassaucountyny.gov
