Description
Eilis Lacey, an Irish immigrant, is married to Tony Fiorello, a plumber and one of four Italian-American brothers who live in neighboring houses on a cul-de-sac in Lindenhurst, Long Island. Their extended family, including their wives, children, and Tony’s parents, share daily life--working, eating, and socializing together. It’s the spring of 1976 and Eilis, now in her forties with two teenage children, faces the challenge of navigating life in this still-new country.
