Great Performers JOIN MARC COURTADE for a VIRTUAL LECTURE -Jane Fonda: Actress & Activist
Jane Fonda is almost as well known for her social activism as she is for her award-winning performances. She established herself as a serious actress with They Shoot Horses, Don’t They in 1969, and continued with a well respected body of work including Klute, Coming Home, The China Syndrome, On Golden Pond and The Dollmaker for television. She released her first workout video in 1982 and would make 21 more over the next 13 years. Jane has had three high profile marriages, involvement in well publicized political causes and remains socially active today. However you view her beliefs, you cannot argue with her acting career which has earned her two Academy Awards, an Emmy, seven Golden Globes and the AFI Lifetime Achievement Award.
