We are familiar with the idiom: "March comes in like a lion, and goes out like a lamb". Art teacher Jill will lead artists in the portrait of a Vibrant March Lion utilizing oil pastels and watercolor paint.
To ensure the smooth running of our children's programs, it is important that your child arrives on time for any program they are registered for. While we strive to accommodate every child, if a registered child is absent at the start of the program, their spot may be offered to a child on the waitlist.
The Library makes no warranties and/or representations concerning virtual and in-person programs. Jericho Public Library strives to create respectful and family-friendly experiences both in-person and virtually using Zoom. Please do not share any Zoom links. You must be registered to be admitted to the Zoom programs. In order to facilitate presentations, a library staff member will co-host. The host may or may not, at their discretion, enable visual and chat participation. We ask that all participants in library programs be mindful and polite. Guests who are disruptive or otherwise do not conduct themselves in a respectful manner may be removed from the program.
When using a PC for a virtual program, you will need to download Zoom software before the program begins. When using a mobile device, please download the Zoom app on your device and create your own Zoom account for easiest convenience.

Do you like to write but don’t know where to begin? You can write on any topic and genre. It can be a short story, poetry, fairy tale, a reflective memoir, fiction or non-fiction. There are no limitations.

Come join us as we learn how to create a tie-dye effect using sharpie markers. Teens will tie-dye bags and they will be donated to Long Island Cares.
